  • Daniel and Meagan Prather

    Young adult directors

Daniel and Megan began their time at Everett Hills as a part of the Young Adult life group. When the opportunity arose to lead the class, it only felt natural for them to fill that role. They both have a heart for connecting young adults into church life as they emerge from youth group and helping any young adults find a place to plug in. Their hope is that this group of adults will be connected, not only with each other as a small group, but with the church as a whole as they grow in their faith becoming the next generation of leaders.

Daniel and Megan have 3 children, 1 dog, a cat, and 13 chickens. They were raised in East Tennessee and attended Maryville Christian School grades 6th-12th where they became high school sweethearts, and they married in 2012.  They both graduated from UT Knoxville (Go Vols!). Daniel is an engineer in Knoxville and Megan is a registered dietitian in Maryville. They both enjoy being outdoors, spending time with family, and they usually end up taking up almost any hobby that presents itself.

  • Dan Mcdonald

Music Leader- Part of Worship Leadership Team

Dan and Laurie have served as worship and praise leaders for 26 years including the states of Indiana, Tennessee, and Florida and are now serving together on the worship team. Through their years of service together they have learned that through God’s sovereignty and grace He strategically places people together as servants for “such a time as this.” They have come to the realization that worship is at the very heart of God and He “inhabits the praise of His people.” Dan believes that several components must be present in a worship service including but not limited to adoration, communion/fellowship, confession, assurance, thanksgiving, and a call to missions.

They have 5 children who live throughout the United States and are all involved with music in some way.

They have 1 grandchild and 2 more on the way!

They are both graduates from Tennessee Temple University with Bible, music, and education decrees. Dan has taught music and English in public and private schools for nearly 30 years and is currently serving as an Instructional Assistant at Lanier Elementary School.

Media Director- Part of Worship Leadership Team

He sees the worship gathering as formation for God’s people in the Gospel, and believes music/media ministry is a means of discipleship, mission, and worship.

“My prayer for EHBC is that we will all see Christ as our greatest treasure, and being captivated by Him, we will no longer live for ourselves but live for Christ alone.”

Levi is a graduate of Truett McConnell University (BA in Worship & Church Music) and a current student at The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (MA in Worship Leadership).
